LAZKO FEDOR LEONIDOVICH

PROFESSOR, MD, TRAUMATOLOGIST - ORTHOPEDIST

Born July 22, 1961. Graduated from the 3rd Moscow Medical Dental Institute in 1984. The first three years after graduation, worked as a traumatologist at the hospital No. 33 named after Professor Ostroumov, where he also completed an internship in surgery and traumatology. During these years I met one of the important people who did a big role in my life, professional growth and career - Ariel Aleksandrovich Arenberg (author of more than 70 scientific works and a number of inventions), who worked as head of the orthopedic and trauma department for more than 20 years and then moved to Israel.


In 1988 he entered the graduate school of the Institute of Tuberculosis of the Ministry of Health of the RSFSR, where he prepared and successfully defended his thesis “Remote outcomes and working capacity of patients with tuberculous spondylitis after radical recovery operations using the method of posterior extrafocal fixation”.

In 1991, he was admitted to the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia as an assistant under the supervision of Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences N.V. Zagorodnogo.

In 1994, he organized the base of the department in the hospital of the ZIL plant, which was renamed in 2006 as the City Clinical Hospital No. 12, and then in the V.M. City Clinical Hospital Buyanova ", where I am the head of the trauma and orthopedic clinic.

The growth of my professional activity was the practice of providing first aid to injured athletes during bike races in which I took part as a doctor and racer in the 80s. Bike races took place on the territory of the USSR, as well as in the USA in California, where the case brought me to an amazing doctor Mark Weiner, a specialist in arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder joints. It was this acquaintance that served as the beginning for the development of personal arthroscopy of large joints, starting in 1993.

Repeatedly completed internships in Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Holland, Israel, Italy, Poland, the USA, France and the Czech Republic.

In 2004 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Treatment of patients with traumatic and degenerative - dystrophic pathology of the knee and shoulder joints using a holmium laser with arthroscopy."

In 2005, he was elected professor of the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, and is actively engaged in scientific and practical activities. So, thanks to the visit of the creator of the InSpace biodegradable balloon technology for the shoulder joint A. Dekel in 2013, we were able to implement this technique, recognized almost worldwide, which gives new opportunities for the treatment of severe pathology of the shoulder joint.

Currently, I prioritize the surgical treatment of injuries and diseases of the knee, shoulder, elbow and ankle joints, as well as the endoscopic hip joint. At the same time, I pay great attention to total knee and hip arthroplasty and corrective osteotomy of the proximal lower leg under deformities.

However, it should be noted that the development of arthroscopy of the hip and elbow joints, as well as the study and implementation of technology for osteosynthesis of pelvic fractures, remains an important goal at the moment.

LAZKO MAXIM FEDOROVICH

TRAUMATOLOGIST - ORTHOPEDIST

Born March 10, 1992. He graduated with honors from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia at the Department of General Medicine in 2015. Then clinical residency at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. Since 2017, a graduate student in the same department. The theme of the thesis: "Treatment of massive and non-repairable ruptures of the rotational cuff of the shoulder joint."



Trained in Austria at the Sozialmedizinisches Zentrum Ost - Donauspital clinic with Prof. Mihdi Mousavi for traumatological and orthopedic care for patients with various diseases of the musculoskeletal system, and also underwent training with Professor Veniamin Orlyansky at the Vienna Clinic for Orthopedics.

In 2015, he finished a course of plastic surgery of the anterior cruciate ligament in Yekaterinburg.

In 2016, he studied in Germany at the course of shoulder arthroscopy.

In 2017, he attended the Laurent Lafossse seminar on shoulder joint surgery in France.

In April 2018, he visited InSpace in Israel, which manufactures a biodegradable balloon for the treatment of massive, non-repairing ruptures of the rotational cuff of the shoulder joint. The purpose of the trip is the study of technology and its application in Russia.

Currently I am engaged in arthroscopic operations on the knee and shoulder joints, as well as introducing endoprosthetics of the knee and hip joints and surgery of the forefoot.

In the future I plan to expand the range of operations on the shoulder joint (open and arthroscopic Latarjet procedure, arthroscopic transfer of the latissimus dorsi muscle, arthroscopy of the ankle and elbow joints, shoulder joint replacement, both anatomical and reversible), I also plan to develop surgery of the middle and rear foot.
